From the front trunk that occupies space where a combustion engine would have been to electrical plugs capable of supplying power for tools and other devices, Ford’s F-150 Lightning is revolutionizing the pickup experience. The F-150 Lightening is the all-electric version of the popular gas-powered F-150. Available at your local Ford dealer, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning includes a new trim level with extended range.

The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning at Your Ford Dealer Is Revolutionizing the Pickup Experience

Power and Range for All Your Jobs

All F-150 Lightning models come with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The standard-range batteries offer a combined 452 horsepower and a driving range of 230 miles per charge. Opting for extended-range batteries gets you 580 horsepower and a range of up to 320 miles.

An Entirely New Trim Level

The 2024 version of the F-150 Lighting includes a brand new trim level called Flash. The Flash model comes equipped with extended-range batteries. It’s also a more tech-focused truck, thanks to the larger 15.5-inch touchscreen and Ford’s Blue Cruise hands-free driving mode.

Plenty of Capacity for Hauling and Towing

This vehicle is available only as a crew cab with a 5.5-foot bed. The frunk, or the large front trunk where the engine would normally sit, can carry up to 400 pounds in cargo and is the perfect spot for luggage, sports equipment, and more. Hooks, tie-downs, and a cargo net make it easy to organize your cargo in the front of the vehicle.

When equipped with the extended-range battery, this truck can tow up to 10,000 pounds. Towing capacity drops to 7,700 pounds with the standard-range battery.

Power When You Need It

This all-electric truck can power all of your adventures. With 11 onboard outlets, you can plug in tools, appliances, and more. The F-150 Lightning has two 120V outlets in the cab, four in the front cargo area, and up to four in the bed. The bed also has an available 240V outlet. And that’s not all. Intelligent Backup Power turns your F-150 Lightning into an emergency power source that can power your home for up to 10 days.

Features That Make Your Life Easier

Got your hands full? The available power tailgate can be easily opened with your key fob or tailgate touchpad. The F-150 Lightning also comes equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a host of standard driver-assistance features, including automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Built-in navigation helps you keep up with changing road and weather conditions.

If you’re ready to experience the future of all-electric pickups, you’ll want to get behind the wheel of the F-150 Lightning. If you’re interested in test-driving this impressive vehicle, head to Edd Rogers Valley Ford.
